Without getting into the details of digital photography I want to state that quality
is among the most important aspects of my photography. If digital technology
was not capable of delivering a high quality product I would still be shooting
film. However, not all digital cameras are the same and I use only professional
level cameras that are capable of delivering quality that matches or surpasses 35mm film.
I have chosen to use digital equipment because it offers more flexibility
for the client and the photographer, it allows for a better coverage of your wedding day,
and the savings are passed on to the customer.
Here are some of the advantages of digital Photography:

Immediate feedback so that I know that I have the shots and that they have been exposed correctly.

I have total control over what to do with the image, without having to rely on labs.

More pictures will be available for the customer.

Any image can be printed in colour, sepia or black and white at no additional cost to the customer.

DVD slideshows are easier to create, so they can be included in my packages at no additional cost.

Ability to store original pictures in more than one location for security reasons.

Better quality "digital albums", since I use the original images instead of first having to scan negatives.
Your decision should not be based on whether your photographer uses film or digital, but on the variety
